Vidami Blue Registration & Software Installation

To install the Vidami Blue software, go to Vidami Sign In, or scan the QR code below to create your personal Vidami account.

For Desktop Computers:

  • During the account setup process, follow the on-screen instructions to register your device and install the Vidami Chrome or Safari extension.

  • The Vidami Desktop browser extensions currently supports integration with YouTube.com and over 30 online video platforms and learning sites. For up-to-date information on new platform integrations visit the Vidami website.

For Mobile Devices:

  • During the account setup process, follow the on-screen instructions to register your device and install the Vidami mobile software.
  • The Vidami mobile software currently supports integration with YouTube.com. For up-to-date information on new platform integrations visit the Vidami website.

Status Indicators, Powers Slider & Charging Port

A. Bluetooth Status Indicator
Flashing LED: When the device is first powered on, the blue LED will flash on and off to indicate that the Vidami Blue is discoverable by a compatible iPhone/iPad or computer. To connect the Vidami via Bluetooth;: open the Bluetooth settings of your computer, iPad or iPhone and look for "Vidami Blue" in the list of available devices. Next, select "Connect", then "Pair" to connect with the Vidami Blue.
Solid LED: Once the Vidami Blue is connected to a compatible device, the blue LED will remain solid.
B. Low Battery Indicator 
When the batter is charged, the LED will remain off. When the battery level is low, the LED will turn red, indicating that the Vidami Blue should be charged soon.
C. Power Slider 
Shift the power slider to the "on" position during the use. To preserve battery power, turn the power slider to the "off" position when not in use.
D. Charging Port
To recharge the Vidami Blue, connect the charging port to a wall charger, powered USB Hub or computer via the supplied cable.

Control Modes

The Vidami Blue is not only the world's first hands-free video looping pedal, it also boasts other powerful hidden features. In addition to controlling dozens of online video platforms, the Vidami can easily be configured to remotely control many of your favorite Digital Audio Workstations and Digital Sheet Music Programs!
The following are the three main Control Modes:
1. Video Control Mode: This is Vidami Blue's default mode. In Video Control Mode you can loop an control videos on a host of platforms and websites.
2. Digital Audio Workstation Mode: In DAW Control mode, you can remotely record, duplicate tracks, toggle on/off metronome, add and navigate between markers, in Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Pro Tools and more.
3. Page Turning/Tab Mode (for e-Readers & Digital Sheet Music): Easily turn and scroll pages in your favorite e-Music Readers & Digital Sheet Music apps like: OnSong, Ultimate Guitar Tabs, Sheet Music Direct, forScore, and more.

Video Control Mode

(Default)

Vidami Blue diagram. Buttons are numbered one through five from top left to bottom right. Top row has buttons 1 and 2. Bottom row has buttons 3, 4, and 5. 1 = Speed. 2 = Loop. 3 = Back. 4 = Play/Pause. 5 = Forward.
 

1. Tap “speed” to slow down to five variable speeds from 100% to 20%.

2. Tap “loop” once to set the start of your loop, and tap again to set the end of the loop. The video will continue to loop until you tap a third time to clear the loop.

3. Tap “back” to skip backward 5 seconds. Press and hold “back” to return to the beginning of the video.

4. Tap “play/pause” to play or pause video. Press and hold “play/pause” to clear all previous speed and loop settings.

5. Tap “forward” to jump forward 5 seconds. Press and hold “forward” to fast-forward to a desired location, then tap “play/pause” to play from that point.

Choking Hazard Warning

  • Warning: This product contains small parts that pose a choking hazard. Keep these parts away from children under 3 years old. Children are at greater risk of choking if small parts are swallowed. Please supervise young children during use and ensure that small parts are out of reach when not in use.

  • Vidami products are intended solely for educational, personal, and professional use, supporting hands-free music learning, practice, and instruction for musicians at all levels. under normal operating conditions.
    Any other use beyond the defined purpose, including operation in unsuitable environments, is considered improper use and may void the warranty or cause damage to the product or injury to the user. The manufacturer is not liable for any damages resulting from improper use.

Disposal Instructions

  • Warning: To prevent choking hazards, properly dispose of all plastic covers and packaging materials. Do not leave packaging within reach of children or pets.
    Warning: Plastic bags pose a suffocation risk and should be disposed of immediately after unpacking the product.
  • Packaging Disposal: All packaging materials, including boxes, plastics, and cushioning, should be disposed of responsibly.
    Recycling: Follow recycling guidelines and sort materials in accordance with your country’s waste management regulations. If unsure, consult local authorities for proper disposal methods.
  • Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Disposal: This product contains electrical components and must not be disposed of with regular household waste.
    Observe the regulations in your country for the correct disposal of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). Fire Hazard Warning: Incorrect Polarity

  • Warning: Fire Hazard – Ensure that the battery or power supply is connected with the correct polarity (+/-). 
  • Incorrect polarity can cause overheating, fire, or damage to the product. Always check the markings on the product and power supply to verify the correct orientation before connecting.

External Power Supply

  • Vidami controllers do not require an external power supply. Devices are either powered via USB when connected to a computer ((in the case of the Original USB powered Vidam) or through an internal battery (in the case of the battery powered Vidami Blue). To ensure safety and optimize battery life, please disconnect the USB cable from the computer when not in use, or switch off the device if applicable.
