Vidami Controls

Original Vidami diagram. Buttons are numbered one through five from top left to bottom right. Top row has buttons 1 and 2. Bottom row has buttons 3, 4, and 5. 1 = Speed. 2 = Loop. 3 = Back. 4 = Play/Pause. 5 = Forward.

 

1. Tap “speed” to slow down to five variable speeds from 100% to 20%.

2. Tap “loop” once to set the start of your loop, and tap again to set the end of the loop. The video will continue to loop until you tapa third time to clear the loop.

3. Tap “back” to skip backward 5 seconds. Press and hold “back” to return to the beginning of the video.

4. Tap “play/pause” to play or pause video. Press and hold “play/pause” to clear all previous speed and loop settings.

5. Tap “forward” to jump forward 5 seconds. Press and hold “forward” to fast-forward to a desired location, then tap “play/pause” to play from that point.

Vidami Registration & Software Installation

The Vidami pedal uses a simple installation process.

First, register your product by visiting the Vidami Sign In page.

Next, download and follow prompts to install the Vidami Chrome extension or Vidami Safari extension.

PLEASE NOTE: Apple has implemented new security features that require the manual setting of extension permissions. For more information, visit our FAQs.


Warranty

Vidami warranties this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the original date of purchase. Safety Information

Choking Hazard Warning

  • Warning: This product contains small parts that pose a choking hazard. Keep these parts away from children under 3 years old. Children are at greater risk of choking if small parts are swallowed. Please supervise young children during use and ensure that small parts are out of reach when not in use.

Intended Use

  • Vidami products are intended solely for educational, personal, and professional use, supporting hands-free music learning, practice, and instruction for musicians at all levels. under normal operating conditions.
    Any other use beyond the defined purpose, including operation in unsuitable environments, is considered improper use and may void the warranty or cause damage to the product or injury to the user. The manufacturer is not liable for any damages resulting from improper use.

Disposal Instructions

  • Warning: To prevent choking hazards, properly dispose of all plastic covers and packaging materials. Do not leave packaging within reach of children or pets.
    Warning: Plastic bags pose a suffocation risk and should be disposed of immediately after unpacking the product.
  • Packaging Disposal: All packaging materials, including boxes, plastics, and cushioning, should be disposed of responsibly.
    Recycling: Follow recycling guidelines and sort materials in accordance with your country’s waste management regulations. If unsure, consult local authorities for proper disposal methods.
  • Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Disposal: This product contains electrical components and must not be disposed of with regular household waste.
    Observe the regulations in your country for the correct disposal of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). It is your responsibility to take the product to a designated collection point for recycling. Proper disposal helps conserve resources and prevents potential harm to the environment and human health.

Fire Hazard Warning: Incorrect Polarity

  • Warning: Fire Hazard – Ensure that the battery or power supply is connected with the correct polarity (+/-). 
  • Incorrect polarity can cause overheating, fire, or damage to the product. Always check the markings on the product and power supply to verify the correct orientation before connecting.

External Power Supply

  • Vidami controllers do not require an external power supply. Devices are either powered via USB when connected to a computer ((in the case of the Original USB powered Vidam) or through an internal battery (in the case of the battery powered Vidami Blue). To ensure safety and optimize battery life, please disconnect the USB cable from the computer when not in use, or switch off the device if applicable.
