The Vidami Blue is only available for use with Apple iOS devices, until Google develops the use of mobile browser extensions on Android devices.

- Although the Vidami controllers & Vidami extensions were designed for use with the Safari and Chrome browsers, it may be possible to use the Vidami Chrome extension with certain other Chromium-based browsers like Edge, and Brave, etc.

- It may also be possible to use the Vidami Chrome extension with other operating systems like Linux as well, if the installed browser is a Chromium-based browser.

- However, extra steps may be required to install the Vidami Chrome Extension on these other browsers and systems, and we do not offer support for installation on these alternative browsers.

- The Vidami extension is not compatible with Firefox.

Presently, the Vidami and the Vidami Blue communicate with computers/laptops and iOS devices via internet browser extensions. Because Smart TV apps don’t make use of browser extensions, the Vidami cannot control them directly.
However:
The Vidami Blue can work with these devices if you have:

1. An iOS, Windows or Mac Desktop/Laptop computer that can "mirror" its display on a Smart TV.
2. A Smart TV with a "screen mirroring" feature.
3. Any screen mirroring device such as Roku TV, Roku Stick, Apple TV, Apple AirPlay Devices, Amazon FireStick, Miracast, etc
Alternatively:
You can connect your Original Vidami to a desktop/Laptop computer, connect the video monitor out from the computer to the HDMI input of a TV. In this scenario, you are using the TV as a monitor for your computer, and would need appropriate cables and adapters from the computer to the TV:)

Of course! Both the Vidami and Vidami blue are useful for anyone whose hands are occupied while learning online! Customers are using it for learning any instrument, DIY, cooking, automotive repairs, you name it! It controls any Youtube videos and cuts your practice time in half while increasing focus & flow!

Trouble Shooting

If your Vidami Blue is not functioning as expected, please check the following:

Please restart your computer in order for your system to recognize and use the Vidami extension again.
Some users are in the habit of putting their computer to sleep after each use, but rarely completely shut down their computer. Sometimes, after extended periods between shutdowns, your computers RAM and/or system files may not function properly until after a full shutdown and restart resets the system.

Bluetooth

If so, disconnect from all devices not currently in use by temporarily disabling Bluetooth or unpairing from unused devices. The Vidami Blue can only connect to one Bluetooth device at a time.

To connect to Bluetooth on your PC, Turn on the Vidami Blue to make it discoverable via Bluetooth. On your PC, select Start > Settings > Bluetooth & other devices > Add device > Bluetooth .Choose the Vidami Blue to connect, and follow additional instructions if they appear, then select Done. If the blue LED on the back of the Vidami changes from blinking to solid, you have succesfully connected.

- Is the blue LED on the back of your Vidami Blue’s blue solid, or is it blinking? If it is blinking, the Vidami Blue is discoverable via Bluetooth. If it is solid, this means the Vidami Blue is probably connected to a different computer/mobile device.

If you charge the Vidami Blue for a few hours you should achieve a full charge. When the battery level is getting too low, you will see the red Low Battery Status LED illuminate solid about 30 mins before the charge level is too low to operate the unit. A few minutes before fulling discharging, the red LED will begin blinking:)
