Resolving Play/Pause Issue

Sorry you're having an issue, please follow the instructions below to uninstall & reinstall the Vidami browser extension.


For Chrome Users 

With the Chrome browser open, click on this link to be directed to the Chrome Store and the Vidami extension.

Click on the big blue button that says "Remove from Chrome” to uninstall the extension. This button will change to one that says "Add to Chrome". Click the “Add to Chrome” button to reinstall the extension to Chrome. If a pop-up window appears asking you to identify your keyboard, close that pop-up without touching any keys on your keyboard.

Restart your computer, open YouTube and test.


For Safari Users

Launch Safari, click on the Safari Menu and open the Preferences Window. From the preferences window, select the Extensions Tab. Click the Uninstall button. You will be directed to your applications folder with the Vidami for Safari Extension highlighted. Place the Vidami for Safari extension in the trash. Next, click on this link to be directed to the Chrome Store and the Vidami for Safari extension. Click the blue button or Cloud Icon to re-install the extension.

Please Note: Apple now requires setting extensions permissions manually. After installing your Safari extension, click Here for a short video tutorial on setting your permissions and allowing access to control Vidami compatible websites. The Vidami will not operate properly with Safari until you have allowed these permissions

Restart your computer before opening YouTube to test.
